Browser Login Issues - clearing browser cache

Introduction

A recent update to Microsoft Edge and some Chrome browsers has caused a cache issue with trackerhub. Please follow the instructions below to resolve the issue.

To clear the cache in Microsoft Edge, follow these steps:

  1. Open Edge: Start by opening the Microsoft Edge browser.

  2. Access Settings:

    • Click on the three horizontal dots (Ellipsis) in the upper right corner of the browser to open the menu.
    • Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Navigate to Privacy, Search, and Services:

    • In the Settings menu, look for "Privacy, search, and services" on the left sidebar and click on it.
  4. Clear Browsing Data:

    • Scroll down to the "Clear browsing data" section.
    • Click on "Choose what to clear."
  5. Choose What to Clear:

    • A new window will pop up. In this window, select the time range you want to clear  - select All Time.
    • Make sure to check the box for "Cached images and files." You can also select other types of data to clear if needed (like browsing history, cookies, etc.).
  6. Clear Data:

    • Click on the "Clear now" button to clear the cache.

  1. Open Chrome: Start by opening the Google Chrome browser.

  2. Access Settings:

    • Click on the three vertical dots (Menu) in the upper right corner of the browser to open the menu.
    • Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Navigate to Privacy and Security:

    • In the Settings menu, look for the "Privacy and security" section on the left sidebar and click on it.
  4. Clear Browsing Data:

    • Click on "Clear browsing data."
  5. Choose What to Clear:

    • A new window will pop up. In this window, select the time range you want to clear - select All Time.
